This article is from 2021. Update for summer 2023: Only Hangawi & UN Plaza Grill are participating.

Spoiler: there are only 5 completely vegan, vegetarian, and certified kosher Manhattan restaurants participating total.

There are over 500 restaurants participating in NYC Restaurant Week this summer. At 24 per page, that’s 20+ pages of restaurants to click through. While there are filters labeled Vegan and Vegetarian, they seem to only filter for restaurants that have vegan or vegetarian options rather than for restaurants that are completely vegan or vegetarian. There’s no kosher filter, of course, since there are only two certified kosher restaurants on the list. That being the case, I’ve done the filtering for you!

The Restaurants

Restaurants are listed in order from “most highly recommended” to “I’m not sure why this restaurant is on this list.” All meals include an entrée & one side; none of these restaurants opted for the “Signature Dining Experience” which includes three courses or more for $125. NYC Restaurant Week starts on Monday and runs through August 22.
